Two Widows a Son and Six Daughters
Question: A man is survived by two widows, a son and six daughters. How will his estate be distributed in cash?
Answer: After settling all debts and expenses as determined by the Shari ah, the two wives will receive half each of an eighth (1/16 each). The remaining 14/16 will be divided into 8 parts, with the son taking 2 parts and each daughter 1 part each. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
